About ALSA Indonesia
ALSA Indonesia is a full member and founder of ALSA, tracing its roots in establishing the ASEAN Law Students Association in 1989 with students from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Philippines.
Since then, ALSA Indonesia has made every trip and has grown rapidly. Since 2002, we have grown from making great things happen in the ASEAN region to building a seamless network with our friends in other parts of Asia, making us the organization we are today, the Asian Law Students Association. Law students from the Faculty of Law at 16 member universities are eligible to become members of ALSA Indonesia.
ALSA Indonesia is highly respected for its contribution to developing ALSA internationally and maintains a reputation for hosting so many diverse and beneficial programs every year. ALSA Indonesia has also been credited with fostering closer collaboration between students of all law school members by increasing opportunities for its members to collaborate, make friends, and share networks.
With more than 4000 active members and even more alumni, ALSA Indonesia has set an example of how students should be prepared to adapt to the global era. The diverse traditions and characteristics of each Local Chapter have never prevented all elements of the organization from gathering in one harmonious unit, ALSA Indonesia.
